We had a successful and enlightening two day thermal testing campaign in Rome with the generous support of INAF personnel.

This is mostly a test of the blog functionality to see what it looks like it when a blog is created. This week there is integration and testing ongoing in Rome of the fluoresce camera FPGA boards (Zynq boards). There was a new production of two prototypes earlier this year. The goal was to remake the boards as similar as possible to EUSO-SPB2, but some components were no longer available. While the new prototypes work almost perfectly, there is some small instability when operating at one microsecond integration (GTU). In order to debug this behavior, low level debugging of the new boards is being done along side the spare Zynq board from EUSO-SPB2. In addition to this testing, thermal tests will preformed to ensure that the new production of the Zynq boards work at the full range of temperatures expected during flight (-40C to +40C).
